This fresco was realized in I century ap J.C. She(it) was discovered in a villa in Pompeii. The technique used for this fresco is of the watercolor on a coat(layer) of mortar. This paint(painting) represents a feminine bust with a stylus(stylet) and a tablet in every hand. She(it) carries(wears) a net and golden(in gold) earrings and she(it) is dressed in a green dress and in a pink shawl. As it is a cultivated woman, we think that it was Sappho ( Greek poet).
