Ohhh I love this LO because it tells the story of our colonial night (end of school celebration!!)...I am such a homeschooling freak! LOL!! For me, scrapbooking is definitely about the story!!

ohhh, and enjoy my new word art that's in the store now!! yipeeeeee!!

journaling reads:
Here we are at our end-of-year open house. We had such good friends join us and
celebrate a succesful year in homeschooling. We ate a wonderful homecooked dinner of
herb-roasted chicken, creamy mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and beautiful
chocolate sheet cake for dessert. Then we put on a play written by Cora, and I
played cello while Cora and Donnie danced a minuet. We also stumped a couple of
people in our Jaywalking question and answer time. The kids loved that. But my
favorite part was getting ready...seeing their little minds absorb everything they learned
about the middle ages and colonial period. Even if they dont remember every detail,
they certainly know how to learn, how to search out information, and definitely
how to impress their momma! Congrats on a great school year, kids! June 5, 2010

Oooh, love this Sally. Great journaling - and I'm so with you over scrapbooking being about the story.

Aside from the facts that your journaling is beautiful, your layout is beautiful, and your family is beautiful.... "How to search out information" sealed the deal for this librarian! :)
