First it was miles and miles of barren landscapes in Nevada & California, then many miles of wind turbines, then miles of grapevines, almonds, and other fruit trees. We stopped at Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo for lunch, and finally at the Spyglass Inn in Pismo Beach and an ocean view.
