I created this page for the May Vicki Stegall Designs Challenge.
The background consists of two layers. The bottom layer is a solid purple paper. The top layer is a pink and yellow mixed media paper set to overlay with the underlying layer slider slid to the left, close to zero.
Wow - it really looks like it would be yummy - can understand the disappointment. But besides that - I love the idea of scrapping life's not-so-good moments as well. It's part of life, and it gives a more realistic heritage to pass on. Great job!
I love the presentation in that pineapple half. Reminds me of my step dad when he would hollow one out, put in a can of sterno and attach mini weiners on the side of the pineapple with toothpicks.
your layout design is lovely.I love that you tied it up with that little bow and bw paper edge. Sorry the dish was blah.
