I've used these photos before of my mother and son, but wanted to combine them to show their love of flight. It must have skipped a generation, because I love my feet firmly planted on the ground!

Process
A solid paper from APP Take Flight was used as the foundation of the page. The photos were clipped to fotoblendz masks. The blending mode of the masks was changed to color burn. Because the photos needed more definition, they were duplicated with the blending mode changed to soft light. Two Artsy Paint 7 brushes were recolored and layered behing the photos. A blue paint layer from AT Take Flight was also added. The page was completed with word art, artstrokes and dimensional embellishments (blending mode changed to color burn).
