When I saw the gorgeous detailed Times Past: Farm Life Masks by ADB Designs, I couldn't wait to play with one of them! To begin, I found a cheerful fall photo that I thought would work in the mask. Then I copied the photo and flipped it multiple times, to make it larger than the original, so that it completely fills out the mask. (I explained how to do this in a separate post about "How to get a photo and mask to work together" linked after the photo credit below.) Next I applied the mask.
After that I tried a number of solid and patterned papers, until I found one that I liked. For the embellishments, I started with a simple, circular frame that I like. I decided to thread a ribbon 'round the left edge of the circular frame, using masking. I added a paper strip and title. And then I added a ruffled ribbon, some greenery, a pine cone, and a bunny.
