These are old slides that have been scanned. Some have mold and/or lines through them. I did spend some time fixing them but not a lot as Anna's Artsy style works well with the distressed nature of these old slides.
Journaling
One of the original tourist attractions between the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota is Dinosaur Park located in Rapid City. It was constructed by the Works Progress Administration. The dinosaurs were designed and sculpted by Emmet Sullivan Today there are a total of seven sculptures. They were constructed from 2-inch black pipe and concrete for the frame. Sullivan then covered them with steel mesh and more concrete.
During our visit in 1957 there were five dinosaurs climbing the hill of the park: a Triceratops, a Stegosaurus, an Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus), a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and an Anatotitan. In 1958 two more dinosaurs were added at the concession stand a Dimetrodon and a Protoceratops.
In 1990 the park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of Interior.
