Journaling: It was my turn to drive as we were driving home from Ohio. The gas gauge said we had a half a tank of gas and Derek was sleeping and hadnt said anything. I didnt realize we were almost out of gas. The gauge is broken so once the light comes on it goes back up. Derek didnt mention we had been on empty. All of sudden derek wakes up and asks if we had run out gas. All of a sudden the car started sputtering so I pulled off to the side of the freeway. We were ralmost to the top of a hill and amazingly enough we had enough momentum to get over the hill and coast down the hill to the gas station. Unfortunately every pump was occupied so we stopped 10 feet from the pump and the boys had to push. They did great pushing up hill the last 10 feet. They are the best!! (font Tracy)
