process...
i started with the background photo. it was very, very dull but it had potential because it was taken at a pumpkin patch so it had the colors i wanted. i played with an action i am working on and then bumped up the color saturation. there was no sky in the photo (whited out) so i added one using the transfer from app wander. i didn't fit the transfer exactly to the photo. it overlaps the photo on both sides. i added the frame transfer to get the text effect on the right. when the photo looked okay, i started on the second photo of the little girl. in the original photo she is holding the tree trunk and there is a little wooden bench in the background and nothing else (so nothing that would give the photo any context). i masked the photo of the little girl and eliminated the bench and all the grass in the foreground, then i placed her over the autumn photo. i added the frame and masked out portions that ran over the photo then, i added the stitching (which is one of the elements of the dare!). i added a second image of the little girl in the upper left then extended the sky from the photo, up. i also added the white clouds. then i added the various leaf elements and transfers. still not happy with the color, i added the glows over the photo (on the left), and at the bottom of page (left). i added the inked words from by combining two different files, then added the journaling and it was done.
