Finally finished my October LO's - made a total of 8. I had pretty crummy photos for this one -- I rely on my iPhone too much me thinks. Oh well - -I have 3 months in a row documented now and that is the point.

Journaling reads
October was a busy month. Henock bought a new old truck - a bit safer than the motorcycle. He also turned 24 years old (more or less). One of his oldest friends from the orphanage, Adane aka Andrew,joined us for our dinner out. Mecky turned 22. Given the past year each experienced it was a joy to celebrate another year older - and alive. We finally installed the Moroccan lanterns aka torpedoes- over the soaking tub. Grandma texted me a pic of her final tomato harvest in IA and I planted 3 plants for a January BLT (gotta love CA). I finally mastered the art of deep dish Chicago pizza.
