Pardon my French, lol!
This my most favorite place in the whole world--Ft. de Chartres, near Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. It is a reconstructed 18th century French fort and pretty much my second home. This is where I met my husband, worked for an archaeologist one summer, where my brother worked for 20+ years. It is my favorite place for F&I and Rev. War reenactments and to DH and I it is "our home."
