Not the Valedictorian

For DigiDare #266

Journaling reads: I worked my butt off in high school, trying so hard to be at the top of my class. That wasnt easy, because there were over 700 students in my grade alone. I never got a B in school, ever, untilI took a typing class in the second semester of my senior year. As it turns out, I got a B+, and that B in typing not only kept me from being valedictorian, but cost me some college scholarships as well. It irritated me that two other students chose to take super easy classes in order to stay on top. Oh well, that was a good lesson in how life isnt always fair. And yes, Im still a bit bitter. I also think its ironic that I have spent my entire professional career typing for a living.

reminiscing about the apron we used to have that tied around the typewriter and covered the keyboard, and the dang wooden ruler that used to get wrapped across our knuckles if we didnt know the keyboard. love you art thanks for rekindlng the memories :)

Cute pic of you, Barb. Kind of ironic and funny that you now type for a living!
