ArtPlay Palette Sky's The Limit

Now Mother's day is coming up but my mother has long been gone. Still the Artzy cards and the flowers in the Narcissus APP made me think of making a card for my mother. If there is any artsy in me it comes from her and she would really enjoy watching it wake up in me as I continue learning. Cannot wait to see what lays in store for Anna's ArtPlay Live NSD 2019.

Process
First I had to find the page that I thought looked like the front of a card with a place to put some writing. I choose Artzy Card 4x3 1. I moved it onto my page and grouped the layers. Then using the Rectangle shape tool I created a rectangle below the card group. I used an action to create the drop shadow so that it looked like the card was lifting on one corner. Thought this gave it more of a card look. Then I typed in my message atthe top of the layers. Next I brought Artzy transfer 3 on top of the card but turned off all but the layers to do with the flower. I lined up the flower with the stems on the right side of the card.

Next I looked for a note paper or something like that and found one in APP Sky's the Limit. I tucked it in the corner. Added Linear FotoBlendz2.6 on to the card shrinking it and changing the shape a little. I added on top a picture of my mother and I and clipped it using the clipping mask function to the mask.

I added Solid Paper 1 to the page and used a levels adjustment to brighten it.

Now I wanted to add some flowers to the page under the card where it was popped up. I added Artsy transfers 2, 1 and 3 onto the page turning off most of the layers that weren't the flowers and changing some of the order so that it looked like I had a small bouquet of flowers to go with the card and maybe a note to add to it.

I used the beaded word nostalgia for my title and because it was a three dimensional item felt it was okay to place it over the kardz. A fitting title because I was feeling nostalgic.
