This picture of a homeless, discarded dog clutching a dirty ol' teddy bear was snapped by the founder of 'Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward', a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and bringing awareness to the millions of abandoned and forgotten street animals in Houston, Texas.

(I should add that this dog's story had a happy ending)
