No Better Place to Be

Wednesday was another bitter cold (six degrees) morning. Each day we saw more photographers at the good spots on the refuge and were glad we'd had it to ourselves most of the time before this trip. There were 7 vehicles besides ours, and long lenses in every sunrise photo I took.

We had been there so many times all alone, so the place felt jam-packed & uncomfortably crowded but it was a beautiful morning.
