I have always been a bit of a hippie, tree hugger sort. I am progressive as they come. I have wanted more gun control since I was in High School, when Reagan the Pope, and John Lennon were shot. I remember the horror of Columbine. The feeling after Sandy Hook, that maybe this time things could change. Sadly, nothing has changed and this country has had countless incidents of gun violence. However, the kids from Stoneman Douglas High School dont want this to happen again. They are organizing a Nationwide #MarchforourLives. Caitlyn and I made poster to bring to the local protest at my town hall. My poster was born out of my past occupation as a PreK teacher who is against the idea of having armed teachers. I had to break more Lego guns than I care to think about. So if I wouldnt allow a Lego gun in my classroom, why would I want a gun?
