Journaling: In the window where you can see the glow of my Menorah on newly fallen snow. I will set you two little candles, on this the second night of Chanukah.
So goes the song that I remember from my childhood. Tonight is indeed the second night of Chanukah, but there was no newly fallen snow outside my window. Kind of hard when its 85 degrees! But I spent it with my two boys and that made everything just perfect.
Chanukah, like Christmas, is a time for families to get together and enjoy each other. Tonight, we had a lovely dinner, watched silly Xmas movies, and enjoyed each others company.
I cant remember a better Chanukah ever. December 25, 2016
