Nature's Illustration

Every spring I photograph my neighbor's Star Magnolia. This photo is from a shoot this week, which has been a very nice spring weather week. My photo was processed in Topaz Impressions prior to placing on the layout.

Supplies:

All NEW Moira Collection 4.12.19
ArtPlay Palette Moira
Artsy Layered Template No. 289
Outdoors WordART Mix No. 1

AASPN Framed Masks No. 2 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/FramedMasks-No.-2.html
AASPN 12x12 Page FotoBlendz No. 9 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/12-X-12-Page-FotoBlendz-No.-9.html
Light Leaks No. 3 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/LightLeaks-No.-3.html

Process:

Artsy Layered Template was drug onto a new blank canvas.
Frames, masks, and text/title boxes were turned off.
Palette frame png file was placed.
My photo was added, duplicated and reduced in size.
Framed Mask2_3A was placed beneath the large photo, and the 12x12 page FB9_4 was reduced and placed beneath the smaller photo, then all were clipped, and placed above the frame in the layers panel to give the spill out of the frame effect.
Template stains were recolored, resized, repositioned and flipped to fit the scene.
Palette transfers 1 and 4 were added; lace, art strokes, palette brushes 1 and 9 were placed to enhance the photos.
Light leaks3_3 was placed over the photos on color burn blend mode. The same LL was flipped and moved to the left side of the page and set on soft light blend mode.
Palette wordlabel, Outdoors WA, grass, and urbanthreadz from the beaded word finished the page.

Stunning!!! You really made this magnolia the 'star' of the show! Love how it anchors the frame and love the dripping white paint!

Truly a lovely piece of artwork with many layers creating dimension and texture.. Kudos to you.
