Missing You...

This is for this week's AnnaLift https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31578, with inspiration layout "You" by "pam p".

Cricket would have been 10 years old this week. We miss her dearly.

My Process : I began with an Artsy Paper from AP Old World. I rotated in 90 degrees so the pattern went from top to bottom, and placed the frame. I then added the photo, and used the inverted masking technique http://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=10010902&cat=398&page=1. I copied the photo 2 more times. The bottom photo was placed on blend mode Pin light, the photo layer on top of that one had the blend mode Linear burn. This this middle photo I also added the sketch filter stamp to add some texture. This layers opacity was brought down to about 50 percent. The top photo was kept on the blend mode normal, with an opacity of about 50%. I then added a black and white adjustment layer to all three, putting this adjustment layer on about 60% opacity, so a slight hint of color showed through.
I then began adding transfers, and in the case of the ArtsyTransfers, added specific layers under the photo and frame. I cut the paper back at top and bottom just a bit, and added a darker solid paper under. I added the stitching holes, and then placed some urbanstitchez. I dragged the MagicSprinkle hearts unto the page, and placed them on blend mode color burn. I then moved portions of the hearts to the areas above and below the frame. I added the UrbanThreadz to the frame, and then added the LoopDaLoop. I placed one of the hearts from the MagicSprinkles to the end of the LoopDaLoop, and created a path for the words to run along the loopdaloop. I then added the banner from AP Old World, but masked out all but three of the tied ribbons, and placed them along the edge of the frame, adding custom shadows. I added the staples to the frame, I finished up by masking the portion of the frame where Crickets little feet were.

Thanks for looking
I love this page, it seems that pets become a part of your family and when they pass they are missed as much.

Love the photo and design. The Magic Sprinkles and ties are a perfect touch! Beautiful tribute!

I am in awe of the beautiful pet... bless him and you!! I am drawn to the vertical design and the right side positioning!! I am sorry for your loss.

Superb page Joanie! I know how you feel, I still miss our Shannon and that's 9 years now, took me ages before I could look at a Retriever without crying! You should do a Cricket book, remember Chris did a great book all about her dog - it might help!

Beautiful page! I love the framing with the bows, and your text is perfect. I'm so very sorry for your loss, it's so hard to lose our beloved companions. This is a lovely tribute - she was beautiful!
