When I saw the Multimedia daises I thought I had another opportunity to try an art page without photos.

Process
I started with Artsy Template DuoPack 10.1 because I could see using the four landscrape frames to frame a multimedia daisy. I turned off all the layers but the frames. I brought in multimedia daisy 2.2 above the frame layers. I moved frame 2 to the top of all the frame layers and added a mask. Used the mask to mask the part of the frame which should show because it was supposed to be under the frame above it. I made copies of frames 3 and 1 moving the copies under frame 2 and erased these frames in any area where the frame should not be showing because of the overlapping nature of the frames. But the copies were moved above to keep them above the daisy. Then I made a copy of the leave with a long stem and the thread that lays on top of it and moved these above the frames. I wanted this one leave to hang over the frames. I duplicated the layers because the original was light and even though it was on top the frame showed through it. Lastly I added a copy of Solid Paper 5 to each of the four mask. I tweaked the color slightly with Hue/Saturation. This whole idea takes a lot of trial and error to get the right look but it was worth it for me.

I placed artsy paper 2 above the back ground. Next I turned on the layers of the template one at a time to see which worked with my paper and recolored some of them. I liked the green to look a bit like a field and the blue and off white to look like sky and clouds.

I added the grass to the corner of one of the masks. Then I added the flower bud the top mask. I grouped the flower and shadow and added a mask to the group so I could mask where I wanted it to appear that the stem went under the second frame set. I added button thread 2.1 on top of the bud so it looked like it attached it to the mask.

Now I added multimedia daisy 2.4 to the page and sized it down placing it on the right side of the page in the green area. I was careful to line up the stem with the line that represented a fold in the green design.

I added the word Memento to the top mask as my title. Then added one of the verses of the song A Daisy a Day by Jed Strunk on one side and the refrain on the other. A favorite of mine especially since Jed Strunk is from Maine.
I love the framed daisy and the leaves and stitching trailing down! Great work with the blue and green.

A masterpiece--I love it all!! The splash of blue is perfection...love the stitches going through the leaves and the wonderful framing.

Love everything, especially the framing of the flower! Thanks for the description!!
