Challenge-2-distressed-photo.jpg

On my photo I used etd_ordinary life paper then blended photo to it. The sketch on the book is done the same way blending after erasing the excess part of the photo. I used vintage embellishments from Carolyn Kite to complete the page

This is fabulous! The ruins themselves are majestic looking. I can only imagine how impressive the house was before the fire. I love how you placed the full picture of the house in the tattered journal along with the information. You did a great job distressing the photo. The embellishments are perfect for that era.

This is very cool! Great story and documentation, love the vintage vibe!

Wowza, this is amazing. Very interesting journaling, feels a little like Gone With the Wind. You knocked this challenge out of the park!

This is terrific and it is great to see the echoes of the journal in the remarkable ruins. I love the details of the builder's life that you have included. A sad tale indeed...

Debby this is fabulous!!! The whole feel of the page is wonderful. Love how you treated the photo. Its neat he at least saw the house completed but sad it was lost to fire.

Goodness, that house looks huge!!! and wow with the columns still standing! What a fascinating place to visit! Great job the photo treatment distressing! Fits in perfectly with the vintage styled layout you have created Debby, amazing job with both photo and page!
