For Vicki's Feb challenge I journaled about trying to accept that I might be losing my fight with my genetics and would be diabetic. BUT I should have had more FAITH, as I passed my sugar tests with flying colours!! I mean, it has not been easy. I was already on a low-carb, zero-sugar diet. But my doctor said I now had to cut out dairy (cream, egg yolks, milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, ice cream, etc), red meat, saturated fat, caffeine, and any alcohol-containing sugar. I mean GIVE ME A BREAK!! But I did it and I wanted to remind myself to ALWAYS have faith in my mental strength. I have one cheat day a week and I follow the rules the rest of the time.
