is home to many Peafowl...
descendants of the original
birds gifted to the property
owners in 1935.Mating season
was in full swing when we
toured the grounds. One
peacock in particular tried
his best to attract the
females with his plummage
and mating dance, but
the peahens all ran away
when the keeper appeared
with their dinner. Better
luck next time! March 2016
