All supplies are NBK's. I used a displacement map + the liquify filter to apply an artsy paper to a photo of a mask I made from a toilet paper roll tube. The technique for using the liquify filter to manually apply a texture to a curved surface is shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkeICA9eF6g, but I used a displacement map to get the ball rolling before using the liquify filter.
