My Great Grandmother - I never met her but my Mum tells me she was a kind person so deserves a page in the album!

Anna makes this kind of page soooo easy! I extracted the figure as originally GG was standing beside her grandson's wife and no one really liked this person so she doesn't get to be in the album LOL!!! ( only kidding! I'm going to have the original pic on the other side of each spread)

I basically layered transfers one on top of each other from AP Tinge playing about with blending modes and then used part of an element set to 'darker colour' at her feet. The beauty of the element PSD files is that you can extract the bits you don't want, I didn't want to use the watch on this occasion so just copied over the pieces I wanted.

EDIT: When I uploaded I thought that Mary deserved a bit more attitude so I've added transfers from metro Grafitti and changed the look totally and added a skinny lined overlay to underline the text which is from the back of the photograph.
