The Process
This a photo of my aunt and father from the late 1920s. The quality is poor and a bit blurred, but I love the expression on my aunt's face and the fact that my father is wearing shorts (probably knickers) and a winter coat in the snow!
I began with an artsy paper from AP Evergreen and placed my main photo on it. Using the technique shown in Anna Blendz 4 Inverted Masking I began brushing back the photo. Next I placed the crocheted snow behind the photo and layered a loop da loop over the photo (replaced the button with a button from AP Evergreen). For the smaller photo I clipped it to a watercolor fotoblendz and layered the branch and pine cone from MultiMedia Winter.
