I love Anna's new APP Portiere that was flavored with the magic of New Orleans. It brought back memories of a crazy Spring break during my college days (many moons ago). After looking at Mardi Gras fotos, I knew I wanted to channel musicmom's style. She amazes me because she jam-packs a design with photos and artsy elements perfectly blended and balanced to create a simply awesome layout. Oh, and she always adds journaling to explain and document the event or experience. Always with magnificent results. (Although I have a penchant for much brighter colors than Laura does. Hahaha)

Journaling if you're interested:My Mardi Gras memories are from my college days during Spring break. It was a loooooong road trip. And we almost got arrested in Georgia. We had to pool our funds to pay a speeding ticket. But once we arrived, I fell in love with this magical city. The parades, the costumes, the music and the general craziness along with exotic tropical cocktails like hurricanes made this my most favorite Spring break ever.
