Make Your Mark

This is a photo of my son from the early 90s (can you tell by the bowl cut hair?). I still remember this day at the beach when he proudly stood by his name written in the sand!

Process:
I started with a dark neutral paper from the new AP. To the frame mask I clipped a Foto N FrameBlendz No.1 layered by a lighter neutral paper and then the photo at 100% ColorBurn (for a high contrast look).

I experimented with transfers from the new AP by layering them under the photo and on top. I liked the effect with the transfers on top and set them on SoftLight mode to add color to the photo. I also placed another transfer under the frame layer to give the illusion of extending the beach.

I completed the page with an overlay edge and buttons to anchor the photo and also to draw your eye to the title at top.
