journaling:
September 10th was the day you were born. It was a hectic day and I don't remember everything
of that day anymore. At the end of the day we were transfered to another hospital because the
one we were at, didn't have room for long term care for you three. Another one a bit closer to
home did. You had beds next to eachother on a special care unit for premature children. For
the situation things were looking good. The second day Wes needed more care after a stroke and
Luc was getting worse too. Luc had to go back to the first hospital. So he went back with the
ambulance. On the fourth day they found a problem with the heart of Wes. He also went back to
the other hospital were Luc was. So I stayed with only Nik behind. There I was, again a mommy,
of three little boys and I had only one with me and I even couldn't hold him whenever I wanted.
I felt so sad and so alone that time. On day 6 I could leave the hospital. That day I went
finally to see Luc en Wes again. In the second week Wes got really sick. Luc went back to the
hospital were Nik was. On the day Wes could go there too, Nik became really sick and had to be
transfered to the first hospital. So they still weren't together. Finally after 2 weeks they
were all good enough to go to a hospital close to home, all together again. There it was, the
moment I will never forget. The first time I held them all three at once. A real magical moment!
