I had so much fun with this challenge!

Journaling: Avery, 2007 was a year I will never forget. You have grown up so much since the tiny, six pound baby I carried out of the hospital. It has been such a rewarding experience to watch you learn about the world around you and to witness your spunky little personality blossom. You have been my constant companion this year, and we are rarely ever apart! We spend our days playing, reading, cuddling, and nursing, and in the morning, I wake with you at my side ready to start a new day.

I am so fortunate and blessed to have the privilege of being your mother. I always knew that I wanted to have children, but I never realized that motherhood would bring me such a tremendous amount of joy. Because of you, it is very clear what my purpose in life is, and I feel very peaceful about the future. How did I get so lucky?
