Journaling reads: I love you baby girl. I know that sometimes you wonder. I know you remember more of the embarrassing times. Like when your mother told your friends you had a lot of hair when you were born and she pulled it up in a pony tail, it opened your mouth and it hasn't shut since. No excuses- just reality you were 11th in a family of 12. A struggle to make ends meet family of 12, mostly boys by the time you were growing up. Mom (I think) was overwhelmed. But look how your early life prepared you for your gift of empathy when working with others, your knowledge of making due, your creativity. I love you more than you will know.
