Joyful Heart Designs Love of the Dark Side Challenge is new in the Designer's Challenges. I recreated a very frightening moment in my young life. I was afraid of the mummy and my sister got the bright idea to dress our dad up as the mummy. I was standing in my closet, hanging up clothes when he came in, dressed as the mummy. He was dragging his foot and had his arm and hand were pointed right at me. I was cornered and "lost it" and started hitting him over the head with a hanger. My sister was yelling "It's Dad" I said, "I know it" and kept right on hitting him. He started ripping the strips of cloth off as fast as he could, and his head was actually bleeding. He never did anything like that again. This story turned into a "family favorite" and was retold many times but it wasn't funny at the time! (The black bird is in reference to Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" saying "Nevermore" because Dad never tried to scare me again.)
