Journaling:
Seeing you in this sweet little outfit lets me marvel again at how much
of a miracle you are. The miracle of life will never cease to amaze me.
God sure knows what He's doing. On this day, you smiled in your sleep. You
weren't even 2 weeks old, yet the tender smiles were unmistakeable. You
did it a lot at first. I used to do it too, according to my parents. They
decided I had to be talking to angels. It's not a bad theory. I firmly
believe that you are still close to the veil as a baby and remember your
pre-earthly life. I think as babies, you need that comfort to help ajust
to your new world. Just like you need to be close to your momma,
and keep your body in a swaddle to replicate the womb. Why wouldn't
you need a little hand holding from up
above as well?
