Recollection E Pack

Being a person who suffers from acrophobia,
yet loves light houses, it was a shame I had
to love them from afar. In 2007, I attemp-
ted, once again to overcome my fear of heights
by climbing to the top of Cape May
Lighthouse. I have tried doing this many
times in different lighthouses, but never got
close to the top before running out of the
building crying. This time it was different.
I did make it to the top, but failed to pass
the doorway to the outside observatory.

While I am still afraid of heights, and
love lighthouses, I think I will love them with
my 2 feet on the ground!
