The song "Lifted" by the Lighthouse Family was our opening dance at our wedding. (Rock music was played after 10pm LOL)
I still remember June 3, 1999. It was a beautiful, sunny day when we said yes at the registry office. Two days later the guests were supposed to come to a big party in our huge garden. The lawn was dotted with small pavilions, candles burned everywhere and the meat was turning over the grill. The band played, the guests arrived and it was pouring rain!
Luckily we had taken precautions and prepared a large tent so no one had to get wet. But it was such a shame that we couldn't use the small pavilions at the beginning and everything, really everything was wet... But we danced to Lifted...
