My dad (left) and 2 of his brothers in the early 1940's. They had it rough after their father died in an accident in 1941. When my dad went into the army in 1944, he had his pay sent home to his mother who still had 3 young ones at home. The handwritten text is from a letter sent to my mom while he was in the service.
