Process:
What would a Behind-the-Scenes wedding album be without a selfie snapped under the horrid industrial lighting of the Bureau of Vital Records? Yes, this was my one photo from Marriage License Day. Luckily my son had also snapped a nice picture of the flight home, descending over New York City into the airport, so I had some colors to work with.
Layout construction was simple, consisting of flipping the template horizontally and adding a Magic Sparkle FotoBlendz for the big photo. I swapped out the frame to one from the MultiMediaFrames set, then layered in the paper, Do transfers, and lots of metallic paints. I created some glittery scatter by clipping spatter shapes to the big star (make us more bling, Anna!), and then used the starby itself and recoloredin various places on the layout. The heart string (recolored), word art, and simple text came next. The last step was to give the cityscape a few highlights by duplicating the photo several times, applying various blend modes, and then erasing the parts I didn't want on the duplicate photos with artsy blending brushes. And into the album it went!
