Le Fleur

**For the current AnnaChallenge - textures**

I am missing my dh, who is currently on a business trip in Turin, Italy. In the meantime, I find myself spending time on GoogleEarth, virtually roaming the streets, and on Flickr, looking at the beautiful photos from this magnificient city. I found one house that I am just mesmerized by. I love most things Architectural, and am drawn by the Art Nouveau period. I find it incredible that someone could design something with this much detail such a treasure. These photos came from flickr and are by user mermaid, and Pietro Izzo. My dh said he is taking loads of photos, so I am anxious as to what else he will be bringing me.

Journaling reads: It is hard to imagine a building such as this. Every place you look, there is richness in details - the more I look, the move I am blown away by this building. Designed by Pietro Fenoglio in 1902 in the Art Nouveau (Stile Liberty) style of Architecture, as his private residence. It was eventually sold to a French business man, who lived in it until he died. His heirs gave the house to an orphanage charitable association. After years of neglect, it was carefully restored, and is now used as private residence and offices.

Find My Way Overlays No. 4 http://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=10008967&cat=383&page=1

Fonts: Dragon is coming, and Virgina Sky

The Process: I began with the Artsy Template and added the neutral, textured paper from the new AP Anything. I bumped up the contrast of the paper. I then began modifying the various layers of the template, playing around with the colors. I attached the photos, and added the journaling and title. I then added the edge overlay, and began adding various transfers, modifying their colors/blendmodes. I added the stitches and elements. I finished up with the striped paper from AP Anything. I placed it under the photos, and changed the blend mode to Linear Burn. I then masked it out, and painted in just portions to show just a bit of the striped paper.
