Kansas, after the storm!
Inspired by my latest trip to Kansas and the storm I have encountered, and by this beautiful poem. and of course by the beautiful Anna's APP Explore palette.
After the Storm
The storms may come And limbs may break;
Yet others bend Beneath the weight
Of heavy rain And windy breeze
A storm can mark The strongest trees.
Life sometimes deals With us this way;
In unseen trials We meet each day.
Its not how much our bodies break
Or how much they may bend;
Its Our Outlook In Our Own Life
That helps our spirits mend!

The focal flower image was treated with watercolor techniques.
It was repeated in various sizes and positions across the page.
I used a number of glow elements to create and overall color color impact and effect of light,
(I m very curious on the impact of light and shadows effects these days on pages)
The focal second image representing the storm is used twice with different sizes and positions.
The background effect is created by using a paperie from the APP Explore #4.
I used the same paper twice (one of them rotated 90 degrees toward to the left).
I subtracted from the upper paper layer some areas with a eraser brush allowing the subsequent paper to blend in.
