Continuing on with Sophias student exchange album using her journaling. Page 3.
Sophias Journaling: Then we went to the KaDeWe, which is a big, FANCY department store. They have extremely high-end and expensive items in there. Jared and I went to the top floor and got delicious and cheap gelato.....and we ordered it completely in german. The guy could tell that we were American and said that we could order in English, but he said, if we wanted to practice we could order in german....so we did!

Process Notes: Using the template as is and solid paper 5 as my foundation, I clipped the photos to the fototblendz and respective framed masks. I turned the middle framed photo to black and white and I clipped the artsy kardz to the framed mask in the back along with the script tease. The framed photo on the right is from the internet to illustrate the floor Sophie and Jared had their gelato.
Recoloring the stains of the template using colors from the building and adding transfers, overlays and art strokes to build up the background. I also added the spackle texture to the stain on the left of the gelato photo along with more stains running down behind the photo and tissue texture below the left side journaling. The bicycle brush from Enroute was used at the top of the right side photo frame and recolored and blended.
Then using Sophias journaling in the text boxes, the Blend Ifs made the type look like its blended into the background.
Moving the threads to the top of the framed photos, I added a button from Wanderlust and word label to complete the page.
