Journaling reads: Near Barker Dam in Joshua Tree National Park I was in awe when we came across these ancient Indian Petroglyphs. I tried real hard to image the Indians creating these cave paintings, wondering if I was interpreting them correctly. It made me feel closer to the Indian culture which I knew so little about. It was not until recently that I found out that the cave paintings had been doctored by Disney Films to better show the petroglyphs in an upcoming movie they were filming. It made me angry that they defaced something that should have been left as the ancient Indians had left it.
