Javelina (pronounced have-a-lean-a), a mean, nasty, evil
smelling, highly destructive little animal with a bad attitude.

Journaling:
This was the first time we saw javelinas. They travel in herds and we didn't want to be around them. At least we got to see (and hear) them. They are not pigs although somewhat similar in appearance and habit. They are smaller than pigs and don't have a noticeable tail.
