Script:
Javelina (pronounced have-a-lean-a), a mean, nasty, evil
smelling, highly destructive little animal with a bad attitude.

Journaling:
This was the first time we saw javelinas. They travel in herds and we didn't want to be around them. At least we got to see (and hear) them. They are not pigs although somewhat similar in appearance and habit. They are smaller than pigs and don't have a noticeable tail.

Never heard of them. I wonder how they taste. ;) Anyway, great page. Talk about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear! LOL sorry! Nice balance, and repetition of the green.

OMgosh I saw my first javelina just last year in Big Bend Texas. We moved fast in the opposite direction! love the design!

It's a face only a mother could love! We see lots of wild pigs in Florida, but have never saw a javelina when we lived out west. Love the complementary page and color leading to the photo!

That embellishment on the left is pointing directly to the javelina. Gives the spread a sort of tribal vibe. Interesting critter.

What a great capture, I immediately think of the Three Little Javelinas, yes a take off on the three little pigs!

fab layoutyou made this smelly beast look good! we had a visit from one last fall down by the small creek; the stench was overwhelming and lingering. oh, i've tasted roast javelina and it tastes gamey, but not like chicken. hahahaha
