FONTS/vincHand and 1942 Report

COLLAGE PROCESS:
The beauty of digital collage is layer flexibility! When I'm creating a paper/mixed media collage, I'm committed once I glue an item/image in place. Whereas with digital collage, it's rearrangement of layers until I'm happy with the result.

For this collage, I clipped a photo (a photo of a building Maggie took in Italy) to one mask, clipped duplicate of same photo to another mask, placed both on background paperseparating the two masked images to create/convey height.

I converted the eyes to black and white and added a tint of color. I clipped paper to the camera brush.

Next, I continue building layers by adding/arranging/rearranging transfers, elements, borders, frames, brushes, tape, and textuntil the result feels balanced and finished.
Love to see how this turned out Marnie, and what a treat to see the creative process described, you pages of places always have that unique feeling of existence and realities that just transpired from the page. Ann
