Half an hour north of Buena Vista and still before breakfast, we took 82 to the top of Independence Pass. My O2 got down to 82, so we didn't stay at the top of the mountains long. Near the top we saw some bighorn sheep at a salt lick, and a white-crowned sparrow let us get very close. It was cold.

The Continental Divide gives me goosebumps every time. If that had been me I would have photobombed the sign! You were lucky to see the sheep. I took a selfie of me with the cardboard cutouts when we were at Glacier.
