My husband and I will be celebrating our 6 year wedding anniversary this Saturday. Thought it would be fun to scrap a page about our wedding day.

Journaling:
Ill always remember the anticipation I felt waiting behind those tall beautiful oak doors of the church. I couldnt wait to see your wonderful smiling face and watch your reaction as I walked down the aisle. A year and a half of planning and finally our wedding day was here. Im not usually a nervous person, or I never used to be anyways, but today I felt like a million butterflies had taken up residency in my stomach. It was the good kind of nervous. We would finally become husband and wife. Our life together would finally start and I was ecstatic. I knew you were too and that you probably were feeling the same way I was. Finally, the big doors opened and I peered over everyone to see your face and all the emotion I felt at seeing you on our day came flooding all at once and I was unable to fight back all the tear of joy that were bursting out of me. My vision was a tad blurry as I walked down the aisle and smiled to everyone in attendance. I only had eyes for you and saw that you were crying too! Well then, I just about lost all of my composure. Thinking back on it, what a scene we must have been. But the even funnier thing was that most people were crying with us. They could feel the love we have for each other. I couldnt wait to reach the end of that aisle and finally we arrived. As my mother hugged you she knocked off your butonniere which we all thought was funny. I remember my mom looking at us and encouraging us to breathe and knew that it gave us a moment to
