My heart goes out to you, you are wonderful regardless if you breastfeed your babies or not. I quote mrstoa "NEVER, EVER, NEVER, EVER, even think to blame yourself."

What a wonderful layout Selena! Isn't it awful what we allow guilt to make us go through? Thinking somehow that, even if we are miserable, it's ok because we aren't important enough to deserve to not be miserable! ((hugs)) to you! Thanks for your honesty...always!

Great page! I'm sorry for you that you have this damper on your memories of raising your kids. I had the flip side. I didn't try to breastfeed my son, because it hadn't worked with my daughter. There was just not enough milk and they said we would have to put her on the bottle or hospitalize her. We chose the bottle. The doctor said don't bother trying with your son, because it will be even harder with a toddler running around. Well, the milk came in and drenched my nightgown, but I kept to the advice because I had to return to work, etc. Years later, I still feel guilty because my son has allergies and my daughter (who at least got the colostrum) doesn't as much. I think my son would have been good at breastfeeding because he used to try to do it to anyone who held him when he was a newborn! So I regret listening to the doctor, but there's no changing it now. I think the moral of the story is that there is no perfect decision and we just have to be happy our kids are healthy now.
