Love the journaling and *sigh* yes, we tend to repeat history..... But as long as you let them know how you feel and are not afraid of telling them you are sorry when you go overboard, all will be ok.

helen... this is just beautiful. and i'm not just saying that because i'm EXTREMELY biased as a mom. lol. girl... omg, i so get this. i guess we all do based on previous comments. it's sooooo hard to maintain that level-headed and patient mom when in the heat of a very frustrating moment. thank you for sharing this with us and not fearing any possible judgement. funny how when that 'judgement' we fear comes in how often it's usually in a form we certainly didn't expect... understanding and a feeling of RELIEF by others that they are not alone. sigh. you nailed this, girl.
