Hometown Pride

Because I live here, I often forget what rich history & culture there is all around me. I live in Abingdon, Oxfordshire which claims to be the oldest consistently inhabited town in England (people have lived here continuously since the late Iron Age). There are some beautiful old buildings / churches and the towns famous Abbey was built circa 675AD.

Does this count as patriotism?? I think so ... I'm proud to live here!!! Thanks for looking.

Can't believe that in all the times I've been to Radley College (best friend went to school there), I've never actually been to Abingdon itself! And look what I've been missing. Wonderful stuff, Sue.

I love the way you rocked the frames. Awesome pictures! I'm thinking maybe we need to organize an "Oscraps tour of Europe" LOL
