When Robbe told me in June that he was bisexual, i was pretty shocked. I had not seen this coming, since he had had a girlfriend a few months before.
I have had a hard time with it. Although i have nothing against being gay, or bisexual, but when it comes to your own child, this comes as a shock.
I even thought or hoped it would "blow over". But as a mother you sometimes have to accept things that you would rather not have, but i did not want to lose my son, i wanted to see him become happy.
In September he already had a friend. And if i now see how happy he is, then i am happy too.
